Getting Rid Of Some Stress

This past weekend my very good friend Michele came to visit. We went to lunch, did some shopping, stayed up half the night and talked and laughed and laughed and laughed....

We took Jack outside to chase some bubbles, but he was afraid of them, so we enjoyed them instead. Michele is camera shy and wouldn't let me take her picture. I did get one of her in her pink flannel PJs, but I promised I wouldn't post it. It was good to be silly for a while.

A Few New Things

Here are a few things I've been working on. I found the red cowl half finished when I was cleaning my studio. I finished it and added a matching faux fur brooch that I also found while cleaning my studio. I made the wool bangle a couple of nights ago while watching TV. The yarn I used for it was also a cleaning find. The necklace is my best attempt at being creative lately. I love the colors and that it is one of a kind. I could never make another just like it.

Snowed In And Crafting

Yesterday when the snow finally let up I spent the entire day crafting. I did venture outside long enough to shovel my car out, just in case I needed to go somewhere in a hurry. It was buried under 2 feet of new snow. Here are some new projects. Every now and then I have to take a break from crocheting.
